Separately, the same manufacturer offers a drug called “Maxilak Baby”. It is distinguished by its dosage form, which is presented in portioned sachets. Inside the sachet are microscopic granules containing 1 billion dried microorganisms and 1.43 g of fructooligosaccharides. The only auxiliary ingredient of this product is corn starch. One package includes 10 sachets.

The Baby product also contains nine strains of beneficial bacteria, but their list is slightly different from the composition of Maxilac capsules. Maxilak capsules are given to young patients over three years old, also once a day.
