Tubage is used when it is necessary to cleanse the body of accumulated toxins and stagnant bile. How can this gallbladder cleansing procedure be carried out correctly and safely at home?

  • Nuances of implementation. Course duration
  • Contraindications
  • What is tubage

    Gallbladder tubing is an alternative healing technique that allows you to eliminate various stagnant processes that occur in the gallbladder at home. As a result, bile secretion is stimulated, and bile begins to flow into the duodenum.

    Tubage will help cleanse the liver of toxins

    This simple procedure is quite effective and helps to get rid of regular pain in the right hypochondrium, cleanse the liver of accumulated toxins and the gallbladder of large amounts of stagnant bile. Cleansing with this method can only be done after consultation with a specialist.

    There are two types of tubage:

    • Tube cleansing is a type of cleansing when bile secretion is stimulated through a duodenal tube inserted through the patient’s mouth.
    • Tubeless - when stimulation of bile secretion is performed using various choleretic agents.

    Expert opinion

    Romanova Natalya, surgeon

    Tube and tubeless tubing are performed only in the absence of stones and adhesions in the gallbladder.

    Efficiency of the method

    If tubing is carried out correctly, it contributes to:

    • Outflow of bile.
    • Disappearance of pain in the iliac region.
    • The formation of stones and the prevention of inflammation of the gallbladder.
    • Accelerate metabolism.
    • Improving overall well-being.

    Reviews left by users about this method often contain information that diarrhea may occur after the procedure. This just indicates that the procedure was performed correctly and the cleansing effect was achieved.

    Indications for use

    Blind probing can be carried out independently.

    This method is indicated in cases where:

    • There is a high probability of the formation of stones and adhesions in the gallbladder.
    • The functioning of the gastrointestinal tract, in particular the duodenum, is disrupted.
    • Regular constipation (constipation).
    • Possible development of obesity.

    Experts recommend this cleaning method to absolutely healthy people. After all, in fact, tubage is a preventive measure to prevent gallstone disease. In addition, the functioning of the digestive tract is normalized, and the problem of constipation goes away. Tubage is done even for children, but only after consultation with a pediatrician. The procedure is carried out both in medical institutions and at home.

    Since no special instruments are used, the procedure is also called blind probing.

    If you take these contraindications into account, you can avoid various complications.

    How is gallbladder tubing done?

    After a person has made the correct preparation and has appointed a day to carry out tubing, in the evening he needs to prepare the components necessary for the manipulation. If tubage is being done for the first time, it is best to do it using only mineral water - non-carbonated, low mineralization.

    Mineral water "Borjomi"

    “Borjomi”, “Essentuki”, “Narzan” are good. It is better to ask your doctor about the specific name of the mineral water. If you purchased sparkling water, leave it overnight with the lid open so that by morning all the gas has evaporated from the bottle.

    Tubazh with mineral water

    Tubing is carried out in the morning, strictly on an empty stomach. The night before going to bed, you should also refrain from eating. Half a liter of mineral water is heated to 40 degrees. At the same time, a warm heating pad is prepared (the temperature is selected individually, the main thing is that it is not hot, this is important!). The first dose is 250 milliliters (table glass). Warm mineral water should be drunk in small sips while in a standing position.

    Mineral water Essentuki No. 4 and No. 17

    After this, you need to wrap the heating pad in a towel, lie down so that it is comfortable, and apply it to your right side, under the ribs. There should be a second portion of warm mineral water on hand. You need to drink it every five minutes, several sips, so that the total volume drunk is half a liter. You need to lie with a heating pad for at least half an hour.

    The repeated tubing procedure can be carried out no earlier than ten days later.

    Instead of relaxation, discomfort or even slight soreness may well form. This is due to the contraction of the gallbladder walls caused by the procedure. Don’t be scared, and if the discomfort becomes significant, you can take an antispasmodic (for example, a Spazmalgona tablet). Tubing with mineral water has some laxative effect, and stool masses may have greenish inclusions. This is due to the active flow of bile, so you should not be embarrassed by this fact either.

    Tubage with sorbitol

    If a person has already carried out tubaging with mineral water, and everything went well, after ten days you can add sobrit. This is a sweetish substance that enhances the choleretic effect of mineral water. Sorbitol can be easily found at any pharmacy; the cost of 500 grams of powder is about 100 rubles.

    The cleaning procedure using sorbitol is also called blind probing

    To tubage, half a liter of non-carbonated mineral water is heated to forty degrees, then a dessert spoon of sorbitol powder is added to 150 milliliters and stirred until it dissolves without a trace. The mixture is drunk in small sips while standing, and then it should be washed down with another 10 milliliters of clean warm mineral water.

    After drinking the liquid, a person should take a warm heating pad, lie on his left side and pull his legs to his chest. The heating pad is placed on the right, on the hypochondrium. You need to rest with a heating pad on the liver projection for at least an hour, and preferably two. If necessary, during this time you can ask someone to add warm water to the heating pad.

    Sorbitol has a sweet taste and will not cause discomfort when drinking

    Unlike tubaging with mineral water only, tubaging with sorbitol has a strong laxative effect. In this case, the stool will be liquid, with green bile splashes. Sorbitol tube can cause colic, which is relieved with the same antispasmodics.

    Tubage with magnesia

    To carry out tubaging with magnesium, you need to purchase mineral water and, in fact, magnesium sulfate powder itself. A 20 gram bag costs about 30 rubles. A tablespoon of magnesia should be dissolved in a glass (250 ml) of warm mineral water. The powder is difficult to mix, so it is necessary to achieve complete transparency of the composition, and only then drink it in small sips. Unfortunately, magnesia has a pronounced salty taste, but you will have to endure this moment, since it is prohibited to drink the choleretic mixture with anything.

    The drug Magnesia is a magnesium salt of sulfuric acid, it is also known as “magnesium sulfate” and “Epsom salt”

    After drinking the composition, you should also go to bed, taking a heating pad with you. You need to spend at least two hours lying down, but you need to know that magnesia is a laxative, and every half hour, or even more often, the urge to defecate may occur. The stool will also be liquid, with greenish bile patches. If the process of tubing with magnesium causes spasms, they are relieved with an antispasmodic tablet without getting out of bed.

    Tubazh active

    For healthy people undergoing tubing to prevent and stimulate digestion, an active method may be suitable. It differs significantly from the above.

    Active tubing

    In the morning, without taking any food, a person should drink about half a liter (three tablespoons) of non-carbonated mineral water, its temperature should be within room temperature. After drinking, you can’t go to bed; on the contrary, you should be active. For twenty minutes it is necessary to perform physical exercises that involve the abdominal muscles. This can be a “bicycle” (a person lies on his back, bends his knees and imitates riding a bicycle), bending, twisting, and the like. After such exercise, you need to catch your breath a little, drink two more glasses of mineral water in small sips and continue exercising for at least ten minutes.

    Tubage with removed gallbladder

    If a patient’s gallbladder is removed, the body independently reconfigures its resources, replacing the functions of the removed organ that accumulated bile. In this case, it is especially important to establish an uninterrupted flow of bile secretion into the small intestine and duodenum, preventing it from stagnating.

    Structure of the human intestine

    No earlier than eight weeks after surgery to remove the gallbladder (cholecystectomy), patients are shown tubing. First, the procedure is carried out with pure mineral water, then, if the effect is good, you can add magnesium. Of course, the attending physician must be aware of the patient’s intention to undergo tubing and give the go-ahead. The doctor will also tell you how often to carry out tubing and with what compositions.

    Tubage with mineral water

    Three days before the cleansing procedure, you should not drink alcohol, fried, fatty foods, coffee, or tea. In addition, it is necessary to minimize the intake of sauces and seasonings. It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (at least 2 liters of clean drinking water), vegetable and fruit juices, as well as raisins, prunes and dried apricots.

    Before the cleansing procedure, the following steps should be taken:

    • Pour hot water into the heating pad;
    • Heat the mineral water;
    • In 15-20 minutes. Before tubage, drink a choleretic agent (Holosas).

    Mineral water should be heated to 45°C (heat the bottle in hot water), since cold mineral water can spasm the bile ducts.

    Next you need:

    • Drink mineral water in slow sips (5-7);
    • Lie on your side, gently pulling your legs towards your stomach;
    • Wrap a hot heating pad in a towel and apply it to the right iliac region. The heat from the heating pad will relax the smooth muscles of the gallbladder, promoting the flow of bile.

    After five minutes, repeat the steps: take 5-7 sips of mineral water, lie on your side and put a heating pad on. The interval between taking mineral water is at least 5 minutes. Perform the procedure in this algorithm for an hour.

    Indications and contraindications

    Liver tubing with mineral water is recommended for the following chronic ailments:

    • cholecystitis (inflammation of the membranes of the gallbladder of an infectious and non-infectious nature);
    • cholangitis (inflammation of the mucous membrane of the ducts);
    • dyskinesia of the biliary tract as a result of narrowing of the lumen, a decrease in the natural pressure in the canals or an imbalance in the work of the Lütkens, Mirizzi and Oddi sphincters;
    • fatty hepatosis, which caused a violation of the exocrine function of the liver;
    • chronic bacterial and parasitic infections, for example, giardiasis in children.

    An absolute contraindication to tubing the gallbladder with mineral water is gallstone disease (cholelithiasis), since stone passage and hepatic colic are possible. The procedure should not be carried out in the acute stage of infectious diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. In case of severe liver damage (fibrosis, cirrhosis, portal hypertension), the permission of the attending physician should be obtained for tubage. It is also mandatory to consult a doctor before performing the procedure on a child.

    Tubage according to Demyanov

    Cleansing according to the method of doctor Demyanov is based on the use of decoctions of choleretic herbs.

    The procedure is carried out according to the following scheme:

    1. On an empty stomach, drink 200 ml of boiled water with 1 teaspoon of natural honey (any kind). Water can be replaced with carrot or apple juice;
    2. Next, drink a choleretic decoction;
    3. Lie on your right side for 30 minutes, after which, to normalize the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract, do a little exercise.

    This method is the most gentle, its use is absolutely harmless.

    Blind Probing Method

    After consultation with your doctor, you can carry out a cleansing choleretic treatment yourself. The procedure for cleaning the gallbladder is carried out at home, following the rules of preparation and taking into account the individual characteristics of the body.

    Preparatory activities

    Before blind probing, it is necessary to carry out some preparatory measures. They consist of the following stages:

    • Tubage is performed after an ultrasound examination to exclude contraindications;
    • Before probing, 3 days before the procedure, a diet based on plant foods is required. Alcohol is excluded from the diet, as well as foods that cause increased gas formation (white bread, yeast baked goods, legumes, raw fruits and vegetables, carbonated drinks). It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids, at least 2 liters of fluid per day. It is advisable to drink regular or mineral water without gas. Dinner before the procedure should consist of a light vegetable salad.
    • in the evening before the tubage, a cleansing enema is required.

    Choleretic intubation is carried out using special means that stimulate the outflow of bile. You need to choose them based on the individual reaction of the body.

    The table shows the means used for blind probing:

    Tubazh with mineral water

    The most common method, suitable for almost all categories of patients. Medium carbonated natural mineral water (Narzan, Borjomi) with reduced salinity is recommended.

    The blind probing technique is carried out in several stages:

    Step 1 . Excess carbon dioxide is removed from the mineral water. To do this, you can open a bottle of mineral water 7-10 hours before the procedure.

    Step 2 . Tubage is carried out early in the morning, on an empty stomach. The total volume of liquid is 400 ml (2 cups). The water is heated to 36-400 C.

    Step 3 . Drink 3-4 sips of water, take a horizontal position, lie on your right side. A warm heating pad is applied to the area of the right hypochondrium for 5 minutes.

    Step 4 . After 5 minutes, you need to stand up, take a few deep breaths and do several active movements (tilts or turns of the body).

    Step 5 . Repeat the third and fourth steps until the water runs out.

    The total duration of blind probing should not exceed 1 hour. As a result of the procedure, the urge to empty the bowel appears. The stool may have a soft consistency, the mass is dark green in color. This indicates successful cleansing of the gallbladder and intensive bile outflow.

    IMPORTANT! During the procedure, slight pain and discomfort may occur in the right hypochondrium, caused by the rapid outflow of bile.

    Tubage with various means

    In addition to mineral water, blind tubage is carried out with magnesium. The solution is prepared as follows: the powder is dissolved in warm boiled water with the addition of a slice of lemon. The required dose is calculated taking into account the patient’s weight, 10 g of the drug per 10 kg of weight. The finished solution retains its properties for 12 hours after preparation.

    Food sweeteners such as xylitol and sorbitol are also used for blind probing. They can be used for tubing of children or patients with diabetes. To prepare the solution 4 tbsp. l of the substance is diluted in 200 ml of warm water. Other means for the procedure are prepared as follows:

    • olive oil is mixed with lemon juice in a ratio of 1/1 (total amount - 1 cup);
    • raw yolks (3 pcs.) are ground with sugar, diluted in 250 ml of water;
    • 3 tsp honey per 250 ml boiled water.

    Probing is carried out in the same way as in the method with mineral water. After tubage (regardless of the method), a light breakfast is required. What can you eat after the procedure? Light choleretic food is recommended. Breakfast can consist of 1 egg, mashed with a small amount of butter, and hot tea, green, black or herbal.

    Tubage with magnesia

    A recipe using magnesia is good because it effectively cleanses the bile ducts. In addition, magnesium improves the flow of bile, quickly relieves spasms, and normalizes stool.

    Drainage is carried out following the algorithm:

    1. In the evening, the day before the procedure, 14 g of magnesia is diluted with mineral water (400 ml), heated to 45°C;
    2. In the morning, drink this mixture on an empty stomach in small sips;
    3. Lie on your side and place a hot heating pad on the right iliac region. Lie down for 40-60 minutes;
    4. Get up, avoiding sudden movements.

    To “unload” the gallbladder and liver, you should refrain from fatty and fried foods for several days after tubage.

    How to do blind liver probing correctly?

    Blind probing can be done with mineral water, sorbitol, magnesium and herbal decoction. To perform the procedure correctly and achieve maximum effects, you must follow all stages of cleaning. Probing of the gallbladder and liver can be done with the help of choleretic drugs to dilate the ducts and normalize the excretion of bile. Correct blind tubing is done according to certain rules.

    There are two types of blind sensing: active and passive. Active probing of the gallbladder is combined with physical exercise. Passive tubing should be done at night so that the bile comes out naturally in the morning.

    Probing of the gallbladder is accompanied by indigestion, which begins due to the excessive secretion of bile. The duration of diarrhea depends on the blockage of the bile ducts.

    Blind probing requires preliminary preparation. A few days before cleansing, you must follow a diet and eat plant-based, easily digestible foods. It is also necessary to drink plenty of water and natural juices. This is necessary so that during cleansing a fecal plug does not form, which will prevent bile from leaving the body.

    A couple of days before cleansing, it is recommended to go on a diet and drink plenty of water.

    There are two types of tubage. The first option is aimed at cleansing the liver. To do this, you need to prepare a cleaning solution with magnesium or sorbent. Then you need to take a horizontal position and apply a heating pad to the liver area. You need to leave it for a couple of hours so that it warms up the liver. At the beginning of the procedure, you need to drink the remedy, and throughout the tubage you need to drink warm herbal decoctions. The procedure should be done in the evening, but it is important that the stomach is empty, so you need to eat 8 hours before cleansing. You can eat for the first time only in the morning. After cleansing, you may experience discomfort in the stomach, which can be caused by the release of bile.

    The second method of tubage is used to clean the gallbladder. Blind probing helps remove stones and normalize bile excretion. To cleanse the gallbladder, you need to drink warm herbal infusions all day and start early in the morning. In the evening, you need to take a horizontal position and apply a heating pad to the area under the ribs. You need to keep the heating pad for several hours. During the cleansing you should not consume any food or drink.

    After cleansing, there is a desire to defecate, which can last for several hours. The next morning, the urge to defecate is also observed, which indicates the effectiveness of cleaning.

    Tubage with sorbitol

    This cleansing method promotes the outflow of bile and normalizes stool. If this procedure does not give a positive effect, you can use active magnesia.

    This method is as follows:

    1. Mix 150 g of mineral water (preferably Borjomi or Essentuki) with 1 tbsp. sorbitol;
    2. Drink the healing composition in small sips;
    3. Lie on your side for 30 minutes, put a heating pad in the right iliac region;
    4. Then stand up without sudden movements.

    The result after tubing with any composition can be assessed by the yield of feces. If cleansing is done correctly and successfully, they will include mucus flecks and may also have a change in color.

    Blind probing with sorbitol

    Probing with sorbitol is considered one of the most accessible and effective methods of cleansing. Tubage with sorbitol is carried out on an empty stomach. For cleansing, you need to dissolve 1 tbsp. spoon of sorbitol in 200 ml. warm water and drink the contents in one gulp. Then you need to apply a heating pad to your right side and hold it for 2 hours. The urge to defecate will occur within 2-3 hours. The morning after cleansing, you can only drink juices and eat fruits.

    Probing with sorbitol is carried out on an empty stomach

    Tubage at home

    Tubage is an excellent way to cleanse the body, namely: improve the movement of bile, relieve the liver. This procedure is also called “blind probing”. It enhances the outflow of bile and improves peristalsis.

    It is recommended as an additional remedy for the treatment of certain diseases: cholestatic hepatitis, cholecystitis, dyskinesia and some others.

    The most popular cleaning method is using magnesium or magnesium sulfate. The drug has a wide spectrum of action. It is an antispasmodic and diuretic agent. But it has proven itself best as a cleaning method.

    Although magnesia is considered a completely safe drug, it still requires some precautions, so it is important to know how the procedure works, especially if you decide to do it at home, on your own. Tubage should begin with preparation:

    Tubage should begin with preparation:

    1. Buy magnesia at any pharmacy.
    2. A couple of days before cleansing, exclude fatty meats, smoked foods and light carbohydrates from your diet: sweets, starchy foods.
    3. Try to eat plant foods and natural juices.
    4. Plan to carry out the procedure on a weekend, as magnesium begins to act almost immediately and retains its effect for about six hours.

    Preparation for the procedure

    Blind cleaning is a serious therapeutic and prophylactic event, so you should carefully prepare for it.

    If the procedure is planned to be carried out at home, preparations should begin at least 3 days before the expected date of the tubage:

    1. At this time, the diet should contain vegetables and fruits in large quantities.
    2. You should consume more fiber, which will already be the beginning of cleansing procedures. Thus, the stomach will be cleared even before probing begins. This will reduce the load on the body during probing.
    3. A week before the start of the treatment and prophylactic procedure, you can further cleanse the gallbladder using decoctions and drinks from beneficial plants. A decoction of rose hips and mineral water have proven themselves to be excellent as a choleretic agent. Some herbal remedies in the form of tinctures also help.
    4. The main stage of preparation will be a visit to the doctor's office. Without prior consultation with a specialist, you should not decide on blind probing of the biliary tract. This can lead to serious complications that affect the health of the entire body.

    Types and methods

    Blind probing at home has become an almost equivalent replacement for duodenal probing, which is now used infrequently, and mainly for diagnostic purposes. Oral insertion of a probe for a patient is an extremely unpleasant experience and the development of stressful situations. There are many contraindications for such treatment, for example, gastric bleeding, varicose veins of the esophagus, even curvature of the spine and diseases of the cardiovascular system. Tubage carried out at home, proposed by G.S. Demyanov, has become an excellent alternative to invasive intervention.

    The consequences of bile stagnation can be digestive disorders, the development of biliary cirrhosis, and inflammation of the gallbladder. Hence the need for timely elimination of congestion in the hepatobiliary system.

    In home cleansings that are not carried out according to medical recommendations, the types of probing are rarely differentiated. Meanwhile, they have different purposes and conditions, ranging from the time of day to behavior after taking the necessary components:

    • blind probing not only activates the activity of the gastrointestinal tract, but also reduces the load on organs located in the immediate vicinity - the gastrointestinal tract and liver;
    • passive does not have a special load, it is carried out with relatively neutral ingredients, and in the evening - after sleep, the body naturally cleanses through the excretory system;
    • active tubage also requires the intake of medicinal components, but after it movement is necessary, otherwise everything that was done before loses its meaning, and the result is minimal.

    It is very important to follow other recommendations - frequency of use, number of necessary procedures at home. It is also necessary to observe the timing of preventive probing, which must pass through a strictly defined period. The authors of the methods insist on careful compliance with the conditions and are confident that without this, efforts may be in vain. Before leaning towards any method, you need to consult a doctor about the possibility and feasibility, and undergo a hardware examination (ultrasound is possible).
