It belongs to the field of new antibiotics and has a destructive effect on the cell wall of fungi, leading to an increase in its permeability and the release of cellular components into the environment. It is most sensitive to fungi of the genus Candida.
• Prednisolone sodium metasulfobenzoate at a dosage of 4.7 mg. This would be equivalent to pure prednisolone 3 mg. Thanks to its mechanisms of action, it helps to have a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect and, to a lesser extent, an anti-exudative effect, thereby reducing the severity of tissue edema.
